This six-month program is designed to provide out-of-work and disadvantaged job seekers with the opportunity to gain vital employable skills and life skills, as well as achieve a nationally recognised qualification to put them on a pathway to employment.

Funded through the Queensland Government’s Skilling Queenslanders For Work (SQW) program and delivered in partnership by Community GRO and selectability Training.

PROGRAM DETAILS

YOU WILL RECEIVE:

  • A relaxed & supportive environment
  • Nationally recognised Certificate III  in Community Services (CHC32015)

ELIGIBILITY

This course is subject to a selection process. To be eligible you must be:
  • Aged 15 years or older and no longer at school
  • an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with work permits on a pathway to permanent residency, or a  New Zealand resident

PRIORITY APPLICANTS

  • People living with disability
  • Under-utilised or under employed workers
  • Culturally and linguistically diverse people
  • Mature-age job seekers (45+) and young people (15-24)
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people
  • Women re-entering the workforce
  • Veterans, ex-ADF personnel & their families
