selectability Training is governed by institutional policies that ensure a safe and secure learning environment for both our students and our trainers.

The responsibility to ensure sound conduct/behaviour at all times lies on both students and our staff.

SUSPEND/ CANCEL ENROLMENT

It is sometimes necessary in certain circumstances to defer, suspend or cancel a student’s enrolment.

selectability training will only defer or temporarily suspend the enrolment of the student on the grounds of compassionate or compelling circumstances.

The rules and guidelines for students are intended to ensure safety and keeping each person comfortable
and included in training experiences.

This policy includes guidelines on smoking, alcohol use, drugs, disrespect and/or harassment or staff or students.

In establishing a Safe Learning Environment, selectability Training acknowledges that some basic ground rules must be observed in creating the best possible learning environment for students and trainers/staff.

Many possible problems arising during training can be resolved by showing mutual respect for each person and addressing the issues in a concerned and understanding way.

DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE 

selectability Training offers a high level of support to all members of staff and students, however on some
occasions, employees or students may display an unacceptable level of performance or conduct
themselves, leading to a disciplinary circumstance.

selectability Training has a policy whereby action may be taken if performance or conduct is deemed as unsatisfactory.

COMPLAINTS & APPEALS (ACADEMIC)

selectability Training is committed to providing education of the highest possible quality. However, from time to time, students may raise concerns resulting in complaints and appeals about matters or issues relating to their experiences in training.

In particular, complaints and appeals for academic matters encompass issues related to student progress, assessment, curriculum and awards in a course of study, etc.

selectability Training is committed to providing education of the highest possible quality. However, from time to time, students may raise concerns resulting in complaints and appeals.

In particular, complaints and appeals for non-academic matters encompass issues related to enrolment, financial matters, venue, other students,information dissemination, personal treatment by staff, safety etc.
