WHAT IS CERTIFICATE III IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION?
This qualification applies to a range of administrative roles in varied contexts. Individuals in these positions use some discretion and judgement and may provide technical advice and support to a team.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. Preferred pathways into this qualification is through a Certificate II in Business or other relevant qualification or life experience. After achieving this qualification candidates may choose to undertake a Certificate IV in Business Administration.

WHAT ARE THE GRADUATE OPPORTUNITIES?
Completing a Certificate III in Business Administration can potentially lead to a variety of employment opportunities. These can include:
- Office Administrator
- Data Entry Operator
- Junior Personal Assistant
You must complete 13 units of competency consisting of:
- 2 core unit plus 11 elective units
- 7 elective units must be selected from Group A
- 4 elective units may be selected from the Group A or Group B elective units listed below, or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at the same qualification level.
- A maximum of 2 elective units may be selected from either Certificate II or Certificate IV Qualification.
